Sorry to hear you have the flu...that really stinks. Have you ever tried LDM100? It works wonders. You can get it at a health food store or even online. We use it every year...start when we think we are coming down with something and then drive it away! I will not lie...it tastes nasty...made of some form of root, but it works and it helps bounce you back.
I hear you on the negativity...what is going on in this world? Craziness. Trying to keep my chin up as we struggle through for grants and implementing self sustaining measures to help with operational costs. We have hooked up with Beachbody and Greenfeet to help fundraise...we get a portion of the proceeds from sales of the health, fitness and environmentally friendly products...not a bad deal really. Great people to work with. Still going...just seem to hit a few hiccups.
Take care of yourself and get some of that LDM100! If I had some left I would send you some, but I have to run out and get more myself!
I guess that is why we are still here on this network...hopes of igniting something that will be a true benefit for women everywhere who are looking to start or expand their business operations and looking for help. I am just as baffled as you are...hoping to change that and the only way I know how is to keep at it. Seems like many just respond to beginning excitement, but do not want to put in the time to foster it along. Sad, but hoping that will change.
Glad to hear you are doing well! Is there anything I can do to help you out? You are always such a great friend, and I would like to think that I can return the favor sometime, anytime your in need just holler!
Great news to share...we received fiscal sponsorship from the Agape Foundation that will allow me to begin fundraising and then start our own 501c3 application. Working on the organizations initiative right now...was wondering if I could run it all by you and get your opinion...
Hello! I see your new group...you must be a glutton for punishment! I love you my friend! I think between the two of us this is a fifth go at trying to get these women to work together...hopefully this is more successful than the last! This WHP could be such a great resource if only we would work together to use it.
How are you doing?
Hello my friend! Thank you for your encouraging words! It is coming together and I know it will continue to. We have such great plans and God says he gives us the ability to succeed we only need to accept this and give thanks and I do. I will have to update you on the organization sometime soon. Hope all is going well for you. You are such a giving person, I hope you are taking time to take care of you and enjoy life. How are you? Is there something I can do for you? You are always such a great help and support for me and I hope you know if you need something that I am here.
Precious TWHP Sister:
Come back, come out where ever you are,
The White House Project is a forum for women leaders and stars.
There is plenty of social media but none quite like this,
A special place for women to edify, protest, lament or share in bliss.
Thinking of you all especially during my prayers today.
So I am taking a proactive moment to send blessings your way,
Life zips by quickly and exceedingly fast,
I am not quite sure if I will be here tomorrow or if my ailing heart will last.
I don’t want another moment to pass without saying to you,
How appreciative I am --thank you for being who you are--- and for all you do!
You are incredible women of courageous and noble deeds,
You have nurtured many souls and planted invaluable life-changing seeds.
May your life be anointed with abundance and happiness,
I am sending you all my love, special encouragement and my very best.
Always & Forever
Elizabeth Asahi Sato, Women Rule 2008!
Hello Asahi! How are you my friend...it has been ages since I hav talked with you. How is the exercise and healthy eating going for you? It feels like forever since I have been on here, but I am trying to pop on now and then. I have buried in trying to structure my non profit and have found myself inundated with things a bit. I wanted to pick your brain about a few things if I may...specifically fiscal sponsorship. I am working on the 501c3 number, but need to find a fiscal sponsor in the meantime just so we can continue operations. My last one closed up shop for personal reasons and well I just need to find one to use while we do the IRS thing. I cannot remember if I asked you for help on this before. If I have I apologize...anything with the IRS drives me nuts!!!
Hope things are well for you and your family! Drop me a note and catch me up on your latest...things have been crazy for me as I am sure they are for you. This economy is driving us all a little nutty I think!
Have a great day!

Hello Asahi! I wanted to play catch up and see how you are doing. I have been working on everything at once and for some reason it reminded me of you...perhaps because I know you are a crazy go getter like me!
I am a new member and have seen your various postings. How inspirational and thoughtful they are.
I just wanted to stop by, say hi, sorry we can not meet in person for tea but this will have to suffice :-( with my being in Southern Ontario and your being in Washington State but we will get through.
Hello, dear Asahi!
Gotta admit, I've been completely absorbed in this recent pregnancy project. Phew. And I thought motherhood would be exhausting......!
Thank you for your sweet wishes and for keeping me in your thoughts. The further we get from New York, less relevant elements of the experience fade. YOU and the events at Table 6 are still vivid and fresh.
How's the work going? Your health? We just scheduled the first California WomenRule! Reunion in San Francisco in two weeks. If you happen to be by The Bay.......
much love to you,
Christina
Hey my friend! Sounds like you need that vacation we talked about!!! Hope it slows for you a bit soon. I know what you mean about the kids...I love mine, but when does school start!!!!! My little guy starts pre-school this year...I am going to sob! At least I have the baby to keep me company, but he is going to freak when everyone disappears for the day and I am not sure how much I will get done with him hanging from my arms. Motherhood...gotta love it!
Glad to hear you are all doing well! The boys sound like a handful...sure my three boys will be the same way, Lord knows they can be now, but they do not eat much now. I thank God that I only have one daughter...she is 11 and she is driving me nuts! Hormones...there is only enough for one here, so I am ready to take a vacation until she graduates! Just kidding, I love her, but we are going to fight!
Business is slow, but trying to pick it up. The economy is killing small business right now, but we are hanging in there. pushing to get the non profit up and running...may be a better time for that. Thanks for the new group...glad to have a fundraising group to chat. Don't worry about getting people on...they are slow now because it is summer, wait until it is cold and they are inside then I think the participation will pick up. Seems to be like that all over the network. Maximize is slow as well. We have about 5% participation...not ideal, but I will take it. I just figured that more women would love a place to help one another and get information on how to move their ventures forward...maybe I was wrong, or maybe like I said, it will pick up. Hope so!
Well, find some time to take it easy and do not forget to get some exercise...at least 90 minutes a week you hear me!!! Walk in the park...ride a bike, whatever you can do. You will feel so much better if you do. Take care and keep in touch! Hugs my friend! Have a wonderful week!
Hey Wonder Woman: I am doing very well. Working 7 days a week though--alas I am a single-Mom! I am not doing great with exercise because I am working all the time so stay on me about that. My boys are all doing well and I cannot wait until school starts LOL. I love them very much but Good grief we have hosted all of their friends over this summer and each and every day I have a house full of teen boys eating me out of house and home. It has been fun and they are great but I will enjoy a little peace and quiet. Blessings to you for thinking of me. Xo Asahi
Hello Elizabeth! I just wanted to pop on and see how your son is doing...I do not remember you saying of late and I was just thinking of you all as I was checking out the new fundraising site.
How are you doing with your exercise program? It is difficult to stay on track, but worth it when your body takes to the program and you can keep on track.
Take care my friend and let me know how you and your sons are doing.
I am so sorry about your son, but relieved that he is OK. Wow...that is just off the wall. Life is so crazy and unpredictable.
Glad to hear you are all doing well now. Prayer is an awesome thing. When I get stressed out I think how great a thing that I am not God as he has to worry about everyone and I have just six to worry about. Can't even imagine...
Thank you for the welcome! As the wife of a soldier serving his second tour in Iraq I am left to teach my 3 teenage sons and 2 daughters here at home. It is a challenge, especially at this time in their lives. I applaud you for raising your young men to be aware and compassionate! I only hope to instill the same values in my own.
I am graduating with my bachelors in 2 weeks, at age 37. It has been a long time coming but put off because of my choice to be present for my kids. I had to change majors after 3 years due to a military move. Even this degree, supposed to be the thing I did for myself, had to be flexible in order to support my hubby. But I do believe that there is no weakness in supporting others and I am on my way to great things because of the person I have become!
I appreciate your supportive poem and will keep it in my thoughts daily! Women DO rule!

As for you, you strong sexy woman I hope you shook it off and realized that you are 1000 times better off without him!
How is everything else going? Business, children, you? Stay strong and keep in touch.
Here is a saying I came across in reading..."Life is too short to do anything small!"
Short, but sweet. Here is to do everything in life as big as possible!
Thank you for the kind words. I've been praying for your son, is he alright?
