Precious TWHP Sister:
Come back, come out where ever you are,
The White House Project is a forum for women leaders and stars.
There is plenty of social media but none quite like this,
A special place for women to edify, protest, lament or share in bliss.
Thinking of you all especially during my prayers today.
So I am taking a proactive moment to send blessings your way,
Life zips by quickly and exceedingly fast,
I am not quite sure if I will be here tomorrow or if my ailing heart will last.
I don’t want another moment to pass without saying to you,
How appreciative I am --thank you for being who you are--- and for all you do!
You are incredible women of courageous and noble deeds,
You have nurtured many souls and planted invaluable life-changing seeds.
May your life be anointed with abundance and happiness,
I am sending you all my love, special encouragement and my very best.
Always & Forever

08/18-Hi Tiffany. Today I received a note from you thanking me for co sponsoring The White Project's 10th Anniversary party at the Denver Newspaper Agency. It coincides with The Democratic Convention. I am writing to say, my name is spelled like it is pronounced, 1 R and 2 Ns. I hope there won't be any paperwork that thanx the wrong person. Best, Corinne Rogan

Power Mommies
(A poem for all of the power mommies on the White House Project)

Our days are long, the thanks are few but there is something special about what we do,
We wake up at the crack of dawn; pray for wisdom and guidance so we can make it through.
We fax our bid, finish a dozen emails and whip up breakfast and yeah--sometimes burn the toast.
We change many diapers, pack up backpacks while we answer calls from coast to coast.

We are power mommies, that is what we do,
We are power mommies, through and through.

We glance at our Outlook, while we read the latest report,
But our focus stays constant while our sons play on their fort.
We never set an appointment without careful consideration,
To ensure we help our daughters with their report on the United Nations.

We are power mommies, that is what we do,
We are power mommies through and through.

There are days when we are exhausted beyond measure,
Truth be told for us, our motivation is but a heartfelt treasure.
We purpose in our lives to be vibrant professionals and great mothers,
We can do just about anything—heck-- even go undercover!

We are power mommies, that is what we do,
We are power mommies through and through.

We can do just about anything but sometimes encouragement and compliments are few,
Whether it is guiding huge corporations or serving the homeless with our crew,
We come in all shapes and sizes and beautiful colors galore,
We are inspiring and gifted so watch out cause there is so much more!

We are power mommies, that is what we do,
We are power mommies through and through.

To be continued……….

Women Rule!
Welcome from a sister and friend,
Who will stand beside you to the end.
What a powerful witness you have to share,
So know that I will lift you up in my many prayers.
Be encouraged and hopeful in every way,
But remember to whisper or even shout throughout the day:
Women rule!
Warmest Regards,
Asahi (Rising-Sun)

PS: Please grace my page with your words of wisdom, a poem, a thought or even a kind word of encouragement for all women to see. Blessings to you!

Hi Tiffany, Love your profile! I, too take a personal inventory every day and continue to learn and grow. It is an amazing journey and I am so grateful to be able to help others discover their own healing powers within. Gratefully, Jenny

Hi Tiffany! I'd like to add you to my network. I like the fact that you're checking yourself everyday to see how you support different systems of oppression. I think that's great. As women, we may not support sexism but there are other systems that we unknowingly support. So, it's great to be aware of them.

In 100 words or less tell us how you are a leader
Every day I work on uncovering and addressing my own stereotypes and deep rooted belief systems that cause me to passively support systems of oppression. I demonstrate compassion. I have hope in the unseen. I'm courageous and tenacious - I've learned that leadership is not for sissies.
