Another Triumph for Clinton, Many Women Agree - from the NY Times

Another Triumph for Clinton, Many Women Agree
By JODI KANTOR

Hillary Rodham Clinton, a first lady turned senator turned almost-president, is now transforming herself again, this time into the nation’s top diplomat. But she is also back to a role she cannot seem to shake: a canvas for women’s highest hopes and deepest fears about the workplace.

As she pondered this week whether to trade her hard-won independence and elected office for a job working for a more powerful man, mot… Continue

Math Always Wins (unless you use it for evil)

I am a firm believer in both numbers and the math that combines them. Thus when math said Obama would win, how could I believe anything else?

From Technology to Politics: Women Are Taking Leadership Into Their Own Hands

I’ve just returned from sunny and chilly San Francisco where I attended the Blogher Conference. A gathering of bloggers, blogger fanatics and blogger-related types, Blogher bills itself as an “annual conference like no other — it is the thrilling diversity of the blogosphere come to life!” The content of the conference included technical labs and workshops, discussion sessions and speakers from every corner of the blogosphere. It was billed as an opportunity to network and socialize and it lived… Continue

Precious TWHP Sister:
Come back, come out where ever you are,
The White House Project is a forum for women leaders and stars.
There is plenty of social media but none quite like this,
A special place for women to edify, protest, lament or share in bliss.
Thinking of you all especially during my prayers today.
So I am taking a proactive moment to send blessings your way,
Life zips by quickly and exceedingly fast,
I am not quite sure if I will be here tomorrow or if my ailing heart will last.
I don’t want another moment to pass without saying to you,
How appreciative I am --thank you for being who you are--- and for all you do!
You are incredible women of courageous and noble deeds,
You have nurtured many souls and planted invaluable life-changing seeds.
May your life be anointed with abundance and happiness,
I am sending you all my love, special encouragement and my very best.
Always & Forever

Jaime, thank you for the invite. I am very excited to be part of the White House Project and look forward to working with like minded people on the very issues that concern us. Please keep me informed of vital information as I would like to be more involved. One question on the internship, is that only New York based?

Hey did you hear that the O Magazine article about the Women Rule! event was out? Any chance we can see the article(s)? I am so nervous-excited-thrilled and hopeful. Did I even make it in the article? From what I can see on one of the Facebook pages----it is not as long as I thought (I thought they were going to give us one page each lol) Such a dreamer! Let me know what you hear gurlfriend. Say HI and warm to all the staff--I love you sisters so much. XOXO Asahi

Hi Jaime:

How amazing is your site!!

I love the videos and the pix of other strong women leaders. It is amazing that we all have a 24 hour day and hoe we spend it dictates what sort of person we are. A little obvious perhaps but think of the women before us: Madame Marie Curie who was a science leader and what she packed into 24 hours or Betsy Ross and what she did with 24/7.

You have raised the bar for all of us Jaime, when are you going to run for office?

Elizabeth Templeton
