I encourage and motivate others to do what is positive and productive for themselves and others to make life better for their family, community, city and beyond. I am an Elem. Teacher and Pastor of a church. I Have survived many obstacles and some horrific things, but I use my experiences to teach and show the way by example. I am a survivor and an overcomer, and as Helen Ready says "I am strong, I am invincible, I am woman.

POLITICS AND JUVENILE CRIME

Hi: I am on the Albany, New York Gun Violence Task Force with 12 other prominent leaders in our community. We have a rise in gun violence among teens who are involved in gang activity. Some of the powers that be act as though it is an unsolvalble problem that is predominantly in the black communties and is black on black crime and is therefore a hopeless situation. So, what are you going to run for? You have incredible skills, and you live in the capitol city. Please consider the problem of election integrity as a fundamental issue. New York State has been one of the few honorable holdouts, refusing to take the tainted Help America Vote Act money to buy bad voting machines. VoteTrustUSA, VerifiedVoting, and Michigan Election Reform Alliance--just some of the groups working to save our democracy.
