- In 100 words or less tell us how you are a leader
- I retired from the military with 29 years of service where I obtained the rank of Master Sergeant (E-8). Then after I retired I went on to College and received my BS in sociology with a minor in Gerontology. Today I a site supervisor with Travelers' security department . I hold the rank of Captain. In addition I am very active in my community where I volunteer as a counselor for the Hemophilia of GA, and I also do volunteer work for my Legislators in my district. In addition, I am a graduate of the Atlanta Alliance on Developmental Disabilities (DD), the Governors Counsel of (DD) and the Greater United Way Partners in Policy. The Partners in Policy is a 9 month educational course that teaches those who have or know someone with DD how to be advocates.

I did not retire, but my husband will in about six years time or so he says...I think he will stay longer.
