I am a 22 year veteran of the Calumet City Police Department and currently serve as a Sergeant in the Patrol Division. I co-founded a non-profit organization called Be a LifeSaver, Adopt A Cop. Our organization raised money for police officers in need of bulletproof vests. In a two year period we raised enough money to outfit 65 police officer across America. In 2003 I also served as Chief of Police for Calumet City. This experience changed the direction of my life and that is why I am currently running (for the second time) for Mayor of Calumet City.
