I am a creative, anything is possible type of person. I do not let fate, biases or theories to stop me working for what I know is possible. I learned you can be the 'arquitect of your own universe'. As a child and as a mother, wife, entrepeneur and as a whole human being I believe in the power of your words and actions to generate the outcomes you want in this life. I am an Appreciative Career Coach and want to work for my fellow professional immigrants to be at their best at the quickest possible time to help building an even more amazing diverse and inclusive society for our kids to grow and feel active citizens of the best possible world.

Mariela,
It was a pleasure to include your article and to have the opportunity to get to know you better. On Monday, we will send out an e-mail newsletter/alert to 1,000 people that the new issue is up and available on line. I hope you'll share the ADR with friends and colleagues and absolutely, write for us regularly. For the November issue, maybe you could address what Thanksgiving is like from the point of view of those with an immigrant background. What do you think?

Mariela,
Thank you for stopping by and sharing your thoughts about my online baby, the American Diversity Report. Yes, it is a dynamic project - a wild ride. And it's about to get an incredible infusion of energy. I am going from a sole proprietorship to a corporate model and will be launching a new format in the September issue. I'll be able to give more people a voice. I loved hearing about your work and your multi-cultural journey. Would you consider writing something for us?

This is more a reflection than anything else after spending almost all summer in Mexico D.F, a city I barely knew and which culture and treasures were a whole discovery. I had a chance to re-energize myself with my thoughts, hopes and dreams and doors started to open amazingly with almost no effort on my side.
1. I got new clients calling me from Houston to facilitate their career exploration journey.
2. I made some great contacts and a strategic association with a HR consultant in Mexico D.F that I truly respect and admire!.
3. I achieved much more clarity about the scope of what I need to focus my marketing and my future web site.
4. I am excited and happy!
My brain is just connecting the dots of my past to the future I visualize in such a way that it can be only God helping me out.
I am grateful!
