Why Do Sexism Criers Fall Silent When It Comes to Michelle Obama?

One of the many blatant hypocrisies that has stood out for me during this election is the fact that Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin supporters, who are so quick to cry sexism, remain silent when seemingly sexist connotations are assigned to Michelle Obama.

Hello Lindsay! How are things going? It has been almost a year since I posted on here to you...sorry about that. Got mixed up in life I guess and now I am back on the WHP board working with a few groups on events so I am trying to catch up with everyone on here.

I am hosting a charity event for NaturalEarth at the end of the month (details are in the Event Section) in Los Angeles and I am inviting all of our LA leaders to attend. Come out and support a great cause and have a great time getting to know others in your area!

NaturalEarth is a non profit company dedicated to improving social health through environmental clean up and redevelopment. The website is www.mynaturalearth.org

Please check out the Maximized group. We have a program to help women reach their career goals. I think you could be of great assistance to a lot of women looking for direction.

Two of my companies center around the environment and education. I have no political aspirations of my own, but I am always looking for good people to support and align myself with. The non profit company is relatively new, so we are still building, but one of our new programs involves the educational support of school age children (6-12th grade). Too many students today have no direction in life and that is disturbing as they are our future. They are allowed to drift through school without a purpose and on into adult life with even less of one. This has to change.

Thank you for being a part of the movement of change.

Hello Lindsay! Sounds like you are on the right track, and I hope you stay on it. I think that if more Americans worked to take care of our own we would be a better society. Congrats on your next move in life. I pray you can make changes in the way we treat our children that will have significant and positive affects on where they end up as adults. If only Americans would see the affects this would have on society as a whole...perhaps they would be more apt to help. Please keep us updated on your progress and any assistance or support you may need.

Women Rule!
Warmest welcome from a sister and friend,
Who will stand with you in spirit to the very end.
What a powerful witness you have to share,
So know that this sister will lift you up with prayers.
Be encouraged and hopeful in every way,
Feel free to whisper, sing or shout joyfully throughout the day:
Women rule!
If we band together in one clear voice,
We can crescendo together in a joyful noise.
The melody of women, who collaborate and work together,
Will send a resounding message that will last forever.
Women rule!

PS: Please feel free to grace my page with your words of wisdom, a poem, a thought or even a kind word of encouragement for all women to see. Blessings to you now and always!

Hi, Lindsay.
I'm sorry we didn't formally connect this weekend because the legislation you're proposing sounds like a smart way of addressing the failings of the current foster care system and the resulting homelessness. Just curious, what constitutes the support network you envision? Hope to hear more, Christina
