In 100 words or less tell us how you are a leader
In my eyes, leadership is about giving back to the community, living in a state of constant learning, and being able to take away valuable lessons from mistakes. I'm a leader because of my awareness of what is going on in the world and my willingness to keep an open mind about other views. As a leader I’m able to step up to the occasion and draw out the talents of those working with me. As a leader I'm constantly looking for ways to improve who I am as a person and opportunities to make a positive contribution in the world.

Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Great profile! It is nice to see someone comment on having a willingness to have an open mind about views other than your own. I work with Day2Day, a women's political and social organization that helps women learn to listen and understand other views and debate without anger or malice. We are posted on Facebook...check it out.

I was searching for members in LA and found your page. I am hosting a charity event for NaturalEarth at the end of the month (details are in the Event Section) in Los Angles, and I am inviting all of our LA leaders to attend. Come out and support a great cause and have a great time getting to know others in your area! It will be a fun and glamorous night, I hope you will come join us for dancing and fun!

NaturalEarth is a non profit company dedicated to improving social health through environmental clean up and redevelopment. The website is www.mynaturalearth.org

Can you support to petition to add Judge Ann Claire Williams, Judge Sonia Sotomayor and Judge Marjorie Rendell to the president's shortlist for the US Supreme Court?
