We can be stakeholders in the future of the U.S., not free-riders. We are called to participate in its renewal. Not only can we do what is asked but we’re being asked what should be done. In true Me2We style Obama keeps assuming that you and I can…

Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Can you support to petition to add Judge Ann Claire Williams, Judge Sonia Sotomayor and Judge Marjorie Rendell to the president's shortlist for the US Supreme Court?

I'd like to know more about what you do. I have an online radio site and other projects that I want to move forward with for women leadership in 2009. Check out http://www.sisterspace.net and see if there are common goals.

Hi Kare,

I like what you say about accomplishing more together than alone. If women worked together, we might already have a woman in the White House by now!

As for networking, I live in OC but have lived in Livermore and am looking for more political work in NorCal. I have just started checking this site out and am trying to find all the uses it might have, but having more contacts can't hurt, can it?

I live in Chattanooga, TN - nowhere near you but I love your site and what you're trying to do. I am about to revamp my online magazine and add a Women's Section at American Diversity Report. Let me know if you're interested in writing something for us.

Hello, Kare.
Thanks for your comments and your offer of mutual support. There's also a group of California WomenRule! participants (We all met at the leadership training in New York this past June). Many fabulous, local women. And feel free to fish around on my Friends page for local networking. An amazing group of women all devoted to nurturing each others' visions. I'm glad you're here!
