In 100 words or less tell us how you are a leader
As a Citizen Schools Team Leader at Kealing MS, I am in my element working directly with middle school students. As a team leader I write engaging lesson plans, design and implement team activities, serve as an academic coach, lead students on off-site adventures, facilitate hands-on apprenticeship projects, and collaborate with fellow team leaders, volunteers, teachers and parents. I attempt to honor my students’ curiosity and energy while coaching them to be respectful communicators and self-directed learners. I place heavy emphasis on positive reinforcement through our core values of Pride, Vision, Joy, Respect, Perseverance, Teamwork, Positive Risk, and Courage.

Hi Jen,

OMG! I was so snowed under with way too many commitments the past two months! I am afraid I let the ball drop and I apologize. Can we just talk on the phone? Call me at 512-914-8016 :)

Can you support to petition to add Judge Ann Claire Williams, Judge Sonia Sotomayor and Judge Marjorie Rendell to the president's shortlist for the US Supreme Court?

Hi Jen:
It is so like the book to minimize your accomplishments and say that my own life has not been significant believing what other people have told me (parents, siblings, employers, coworkers) over the years.

I am ready to make some major improvements in my life and will be looking forward to the next few weeks. These are baby steps, a little bit at a time such as easing back into day-to-day work after being off work (full-time by February 2009) and getting regular physical exercise as well working up to 90 minutes a day 6 days a week by June of next year is my goal.

Thanks for your supportive message, it was terrific to receive.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth

Jen:
If I lived in the United States I would strongly urge all my friends to call their representative and support this bill, it needs to be passed to help close the wound that was ripped wide open with Katrina.

From my perspective, I have nothing but questions about the way the Bush administration handled the whole Katrina situation from the time it was a storm off the coast of Florida to the time it petered out over the Atlantic Provinces here in Canada.

For what it is worth, thanks for posting this , it offers hope to a population and a country that needs to heal from this conflict.

Kind Regards,
Elizabeth Templeton

Women Rule!
Warmest welcome from a sister and friend,
Who will stand with you in spirit to the very end.
What a powerful witness you have to share,
So know that this sister will lift you up with prayers.
Be encouraged and hopeful in every way,
Feel free to whisper, sing or shout joyfully throughout the day:
Women rule!
If we band together in one clear voice,
We can crescendo together in a joyful noise.
The melody of women, who collaborate and work together,
Will send a resounding message that will last forever.
Women rule!

PS: Please feel free to grace my page with your words of wisdom, a poem, a thought or even a kind word of encouragement for all women to see. Blessings to you now and always!

Hello, Jen.
I worked for two battered women's shelters right our of college: one in Minneapolis and the other in Durham, NC. It was sobering to get to know women and children who endure violence and abuse every day of their lives. I eventually left that work for education, which I love, but I am happy that there are still dedicated, passionate women like you to keep healing domestic violence. Hope you had an amazing experience in NH! Christina

Good Morning Jen!

Thank you for the kind words and for stopping by. I would love for you to take a look at our Philanthropy/Going Green section. You will see the lovely Arissa Hill. She is originally from Boston and we are working on a big Going Green movement with and for our women and young girls. I would love for you to join us.
Please stop by and let me know if there is anything I can do to help your cause "Women Hiking for Women Healing". If you have any content you would like to send me I would be more than happy to feature you and your mission on my site!

I look forward to hearing from you.

Warmly,
Gabriela
