I have been nvolved in community improvement projects, women’s rights campaigns, and ‘green’ initiatives. I am currently focused on aligning my career objectives with my passion for political and social activism, particularly addressing issues of class/race discrimination. Since December 2007 I have been working with a team of peers to create a non-profit organization committed to the eradication of poverty by providing access to comprehensive services, called The New Propserity Initiative.

Hi, Jeanne! I just returned home to Boston from the New York "Go Run!" event, and created a new group: Boston area WHPers. Hoping to connect the Boston area alums and let each other know about upcoming events. Please check it out!

Women Rule!
Warmest welcome from a sister and friend,
Who will stand with you in spirit to the very end.
What a powerful witness you have to share,
So know that this sister will lift you up with prayers.
Be encouraged and hopeful in every way,
Feel free to whisper, sing or shout joyfully throughout the day:
Women rule!
If we band together in one clear voice,
We can crescendo together in a joyful noise.
The melody of women, who collaborate and work together,
Will send a resounding message that will last forever.
Women rule!

PS: Please feel free to grace my page with your words of wisdom, a poem, a thought or even a kind word of encouragement for all women to see. Blessings to you now and always!

Jeanne! I'm so happy to have shared a home table with you. I hope we can support each other as we move forward. But you gotta ASK! You know I will. So unless you feel like helping me out and not getting anything in return, I expect to hear from you. ;)

Hi, Jeanne!

I'm still flying high... It was great meeting you, albeit briefly. I'm looking forward to continuing where we left off and to be a support for you in your project.

Can you imagine the impact we will have on this planet?? It's amazing!!

Is it really a glass ceiling or is it impenetrable Plexiglas? Is it a carefully fashioned allusion keeping us POC’s hopeful, making us believe we truly have access so we will stay in line? What has been your experience as a woman of color?

A place to explore the interchange of faith, gender and social activism. What does it mean to be a woman of faith in these times? What does our faith say about our struggles as women and creators?
