- In 100 words or less tell us how you are a leader
- I am a sought-after Gynecologist in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and an Associate Clinical Professor at MSUs College of Human Medicine. I have served as Founding President of the American College of Womens Health Physicians, a physician group dedicated to better education in Gender Specific Women's Health. I am on the board of the American Medical Women's Association, and joined their committee in DC which advocated for Universal Healthcare as a Women's Health issue. I am a liaison from Michigan State Medical Society to the American Medical Association's Women in Medicine group, was a delegate from Kalamazoo to the Michigan State Medical Society for 9 years, and inaugurated the Women's Caucus there. I was also chair of the Committee on Concerns of Women Physicians there, which helped pass a resolution establishing part time dues for part time physicians. I am one of the larger contributors to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign and to Jennifer Granholm's, also.
