Profile Information

In 100 words or less tell us how you are a leader
I received my BS and MBA from the University of Virginia with the goal of managing my own financial practice with my brother. That goal became a reality in 2005. My practice, Potomac Capital, focused on offering wealth management solutions for personal and business planning.

When I think of what makes me a leader, the following attributes come to mind: determination, perseverance, focus, discipline and teamwork. I believe I possess these qualities and each of them has played an integral role in making me the person that I am today. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to close my business in 2007. However, I remain committed to providing financial advice and have continued to work in this capacity with a very prominent financial firm based in Northern Virginia.

Isabel-I applaud your sharing that your business closed and that you didn't view that as a personal failure. So many people are quick to accept failure and just give up. If you necer fail, you can never appreciate success. Perseverance and honesty are key in good leadership. I look forward to networking with you.

Women Rule!
Warmest welcome from a sister and friend,
Who will stand with you in spirit to the very end.
What a powerful witness you have to share,
So know that this sister will lift you up with prayers.
Be encouraged and hopeful in every way,
Feel free to whisper, sing or shout joyfully throughout the day:
Women rule!
If we band together in one clear voice,
We can crescendo together in a joyful noise.
The melody of women, who collaborate and work together,
Will send a resounding message that will last forever.
Women rule!

PS: Please feel free to grace my page with your words of wisdom, a poem, a thought or even a kind word of encouragement for all women to see. Blessings to you now and always!
