I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Nope, I'm not a native, but it has been an incredible treat to live in Santa Barbara for the last 14 year raising my kids here. I'm originally from Copenhagen, Denmark and have lived in the United States for the last 24 years.
Your support group sounds wonderful and I have incredible respect for anyone who stands up and takes action for the things they believe. Even though I have not been very active in this blog/portal, I love the way we all can connect and share our experiences. Thanks for reaching out.
You are really connected!! What a wonderful tribute you have given to other women that are "wired for life". I have a friend & client that wears a pacemaker. I am also a massage therapist, and the first time I gave him a massage he neglected to tell me he had a pacemaker (even though I asked if there were any medical conditions). You can imagine my look when I started to get too close to the ticker!! Wonderful that you have created a place were people from all over can connect. I have a huge event that I am hosting through my organization, the Holistic Mentorship Network, this Friday May 16th. It is a network gathering at a huge hospital in my area for anyone interested in holistic practice. We have about 130-150 people attending. Not bad for putting this together in 2 1/2 months. Just goes to show what you can accomplish in a short amount of time if you keep your focus. Very cool to be a part of this community of leaders!!
