Congratulations on the adoption of your children! It is so great to hear stories such as yours...especially when we hear so much about celebrities adopting children from other countries and you think...what about all the children here in America. Thanks for getting back with me. Hope everything goes smoothly for you and your family. My background is law, so I know how long a process anything law related can be, but I pray you have a speedy process and that it gets finalized quickly.

Take care and keep me updated. I know there is little I can do except pray for you and your family, but if there is anything please let me know.

We did private adoptions for both children, so I cannot help you navigate the the foster system. However, I can definitely empathize with all the steps & red tape. Sounds like you are familiar with this process already. Just hang in there - you know that this entire experience changes your life in ways you cannot anticipate. I am such a better person thanks to the challenges we faced. I could only say that once I had made it through and we have our family, so I have nothing but warm thoughts & prayers for you as you are working your way through it.

Cassie, Just read your post on Stacy's page about moving forward w/adopting your foster children. Good luck! As an adoptive mother of 2, I wish you a speedy court process with no surprises. Plus I see you are in Ohio too! Would be interested in your opinion on Ohio's adoption laws - maybe someday w/the WHP help we can change/improve these laws to help adoptive families!

Hello Cassie! I just wanted to pop on and say hello. Have not heard from you in a while and wanted to make sure you were doing well. I also wanted to get some feedback from you on Bea's project.

Hope you are enjoying the summer!

How great that you work with foster children. If I did not have four of my own I might consider it. My three boys and one girl give me enough of a run. I hear you on needing to show income...why is it that when you are a business owner the income does not always flow just as you think it will...I know why, I just do not always like it. It takes time to build things up to where we need them, but I would not give up working for myself for anything. It gives me time to use my creative side and the flex time with family.

There is so much going on I have to watch what I get involved in as well or I can easily be online every day instead of doing what needs to be done for my companies. It is great to have such a wonderful resource full of outstanding women to network with.

You are awesome Cassie! I just read your response on the Maximized page and you are pretty much right on! We are getting ready to post some material for Bea's program and then assign tasks, and I know that your will be a true asset for helping Bea get going. Great suggestion on the place of venue, be sure and list that on the information page we send you to fill out for Bea.

Take care and I will talk to you soon!
