In 100 words or less tell us how you are a leader
Everyday I lead throuh example. I show my peers that is possible for a young woman to make it. I take the necessary steps to accomplish the goals i have set for myself. When I feel there are barriers I strive to break them. I am currently a big sister through Big Brothers Big Sister. I show my little, regardless of economic status or living situation she can and will make it!!!!! She has to believe in herself and put her best foot forward to get where she strives to be.

Can you support to petition to add Judge Ann Claire Williams, Judge Sonia Sotomayor and Judge Marjorie Rendell to the president's shortlist for the US Supreme Court?

Maximize was formed to do just what Jill and I were hashing out. It is a place where we can help the women members meet their professional goals through mentoring, support and assistance. If you have not done so already read through all of the beginning dialog for Maximize so you can see our mission, vision and goals. At present time we are restructuring as we have over 40 members but most of them are not taking the active roles we want to make mandatory at this point because those of us who are active are women on a mission. We have places to go in life...things to accomplish and we are looking for other like minded individuals to help us along. I have enjoyed being a part of this network, but the one thing we are stressing this time around is that we are not into just having another discussion forum...we want an action group that works together, each and every one of us, for the betterment of the group and our members.

Should you have any suggestions on the new structure please feel free to share...the more ideas the better it will be to meet the needs of all those who want to participate and grow. WE are Maximizing the moment together!

Keep going Carmen, and do not let anyone ever tell you that there is something that you cannot strive to attain. The only one who can stand in your way is you.

Thank you for being such a great example to our younger generations and for generously giving of yourself and your time.

Welcome to Maximize! We will be restructuring the program over the next month so we will keep you up on any changes. We are an active group that works for the advancement of one another.

Hello

I am planing a education pageant (Care Plus Pageant) and your words are just what I want to do for the participants. My home upbringing was good and I also selected certain projects to help me in the community. I am giving back to the and helping just as you are. If you know of women who would like to participate see my event for July 5, 2009.
