My values are responsibility, self-awareness, and service work for the greater good. I am a filmmaker/writer/researcher and had the honor of being one of the judges for Women Rule! Reviewing applications was an awe-inspiring and very moving process. Congratulations to those who will attend the June conference and all other women leaders.

What a kind compliment. Thank you very much. I love the fact that my name has tremendous significance in both my Native and Japanese cultures. Your name is also unique--is it French? How do you pronounce it? (I am all about saying people's name correctly.)What types of film projects are you interested in? I have so many scripts in my head including the time I met and dined with Rosa Parks. Are you an independent filmmaker? Is it difficult to find funding for film projects? We have a Producer right here on our block who works with Lucas films and I have been meaning to approach her--but I guess I should write the script first. lol. Thanks again for stopping by and I hope to stay in touch.
Many Blessings,
Asahi

What an experience reviewing all of those applications must have been! Did you get anything else done in the past few weeks?! Are you working on any interesting film projects now? Looking forward to connecting with you.

Hi Beret, I am so happy you are going to look into Pangea Day -- it seems like something you would really enjoy and I am so excited for it! Another film you might want to check out that is in production right now is "The Shift". I love that so many films are being made to support awareness and consciousness now! It was seeing "The Secret" that started my healing journey and I am forever grateful for it. These films can do so much good! GREAT to meet you. Love, Jenny

Women Rule!
Welcome from a sister and friend,
Who will stand beside you to the end.
What a powerful witness you have to share,
So know that I will lift you up in my many prayers.
Be encouraged and hopeful in every way,
But remember to whisper or even shout throughout the day:
Women rule!
Warmest Regards,
Asahi (Rising-Sun)

PS: Please grace my page with your words of wisdom, a poem, a thought or even a kind word of encouragement for all women to see. Blessings to you!

Beret,
I am sure you need a vacation after checking out all the applications for the Women Rule Conference! Thanks for taking care of it. I can just imagine how hard must have been to make the final selection!. I am so glad when I got the rejection letter to have had got the invitation to join this network as I initially felt a little discouraged by the response. No more. I am on my way to achieve my dreams. Thanks again!
