I hope you will allow me to join your group although my "children" are now 29, 27, and 25 (2 boys and a girl). I've "been there and done that" and understand where you ladies are in your life. As a Life Coach, with a parenting niche, I hope I can be a support for you. Please check out my website at www.coachingthefamily.com and feel free to ask me anything.

I am so glad to see this group on the website. I am the (somewhat) new mom of an 8 month old and the number one thing on my mind lately is how to balance my family and ambition. I hope I can give and receive some valuable tips for making this all possible. I have decided, as a start, to just get out there and do it. I have stopped saying "no, I'm too busy/tired/stressed/overwhelmed." My new motto is "if not now, when? if not me, who?"

This is a wonderful opportunity for me to see how other professional women are keeping everything in perspective. As an entrepreneur, mother, wife, mentor and many other things, I find it challenging to balance all of the areas in my life. It would be great to communicate with some other Warrior Moms out there.

What a great group with a marvelous mission! I am the mother of 2 wonderful elementary school kids (1st & 3rd grade) as well as the owner of a real estate company, founder/editor of a new website (familyfitnesscoach.com -its FREE, check it out!) and studying for my certified personal trainer credential. So, I'm doing lots and would love to bounce ideas off other superwomen! Thanks for being so SUPER!!

Just had to grace this page with some of my Pacific Northwest love and although we are sorely missing the sunshine I have alot of sunshine to give --especially to Mommies. I got to give a big shout out and lots of love to all the mommies on TWHP before I go to bed. You are all incredible women and thank goodness our children have us! LOL although I am beginning to realize that when you are a mother of toddlers or even teens you wonder if they will ever "get-it." I believe they will and whether we get the daily thank-yous or the hugs--just know that what you are doing each and every day truly matters. You are impacting the life/lives of children, children who will soon someday impact our world in many profound and incredible ways and it is through your influence and love that they will grow to be significant leaders, powerful change-agents and restorative healers in a world that desperately needs all. From one mommy to all of you mommies. THANK YOU. and gurl go soak your feet and read a good book, get a massage, walk on the beach, go for a run, make your very favorite dish--for YOU, call your best friend and get some you time in too. XO Asahi.

Glad to see this group. I am a candidate for county commissioner, full time student, wife and mother of 2. Best advice someone gave me about being superwoman--don't worry about keeping the house spotless all the time. A friend recently told me that she sets a timer for 30 minutes and when it goes off, she stops cleaning. It is amazing how much you can get done in that amount of time. Anyone have any ideas on balancing meetings with babysitting needs, and meeting etiquette ie when to cancel and when to bring a child along (when the sitter cancels or you can't get one)?
